The Hana Yori Dango movie was surprisingly... not bad :D risa6chan got a pair of tickets to the preview screening, and she asked me along ♥ It feels great being able to understand most of the Japanese (as opposed to very little last year) \:D/

I'm very sleepy. But I've to go to the airport to send thoughtsofadrop off in like, 2 hours. Though we'll be seeing each other in 2 weeks ^^

Also, the Ueda con tickets have been shipped out~ *does happy dance*

One more week at work. Then there'll be much packing to do sdjlasjdlasjdlsa

I took the day off from work! Because I had cramps this morning :( And I felt horrible somehow. The additional 4 hours of sleep seemed to have done wonders, though. I'm all ready to go out now (to go collect my visa from the Japanese embassy!).

Friday was Seiko's (my aunt's company) Bon Odori day! And I had my first picture with my otousan! ♥ Then Saturday was Natsu Matsuri at the Changi Japanese School, which wasn't as fantastic as I hoped it would be, largely due to the horrible weather. They moved all their programmes to the gym, and none of us knew, so we ended up mostly eating, drinking Asahi beer and looking out for cute Japanese boys (... well, I at least did). Pictures to come later.

Sunday was spent having Tony Romas for lunch with the girls, and then a farewell dinner for Dan and Yucchi (not Nakamaru, a Singaporean friend of ours XD). 2 more weeks and it'd be my turn :O

I can't wait to leave, but I'm also a bit nervous. The nerves are not so bad these days. I just need to tell myself to start packing soon 8D; 18 more days!

My boss decided he wants me to stay till Sept 5th. But my colleague (and the one I was replacing till last week when she came back from her new mommy holiday) managed to persuade him to have a farewell lunch for me, so the whole marketing department is going out the week after next. Woot. (Not like we don't go out together everyday already like the clique that everyone thinks we are 8D)

Now I need to decide where to go :|

Was poking around online looking for blogs of people who are going/have gone to Tohoku. It was 2 and a half pages of google search results 3 months ago. And it's still 2 and a half now. IS NOONE GOING TO TOHOKU OR WHAT? D:

Also, while poking around, I found the page of someone who tried to blog in Japanese. And I laughed. Because he was making a major mistake in every other sentence and his friends still said he was amazing. Yes, I'm a bitch >D

I really ought to sleep early. Am still struggling with designing the display kit for the vacuum cleaners at work :|

I came back home at almost 3am, with zero alcohol in my system 8D That in itself is an irony. Lol. But anyway, I met up with Yuchan, Hitomi and Gabriel, after the National Day Celebration, and ended up walking around a lot and having a dinner of seafood (shellfish!), fried noodles (Malay style!) and satay, after that we walked around some more and took lots of pictures near the Esplanade. By the time I hopped onto a night rider bus bound for home, it was already past 1am 8D

What's happening in fandom these days? DDD: I feel as if things are so quiet. So weeeiiiiird. Are we gonna get some kinda activity in the next quarter? Lolol. Don't tell me the only thing I can look forward to is Ueda's solo con next month :|

Am finally watching The Dark Knight today! YAY!

I went around looking at my former Junior College classmates and boarding school friends' blogs and came across Thomas (Wong)'s blog. I just met him again yesterday after not seeing each other for almost half a year despite the fact that I'm in Science and he's in Medicine, and our faculties are right next to each other and that we have our meals in the same cafeteria.

But anyway, I digressed.

He made this post not too long ago, about love and why he talks about it all the time, and then there was a list of responses that children between 4-8 years of age gave when asked what love means to them. I found that post of his particularly inspiring.

Sometimes looking at the world through the eyes of a six-year-old isn't all that bad at all.

実は何も話さないだけど、最近日本語での練習はあまりないから、時々日本語を使わなきゃ。。。

この前、タイワンの映画、永遠の夏（？）の trailer を見た。見ると、その映画を本当に見たい。でも用事がたくさんあるから、用事が終わったら、メーブルと一緒に見るよ。
